For the purpose of access to, and use of, Cardinal Hill facilities, a member family consists of the registered member and spouse who permanently live in the household and any of the registered member’s children under the age of 26. Any other individuals living in the household using the Club facilities must be registered as guests and the applicable fees paid.
The Board reserves the right to grant an exception for an adult caregiver who resides permanently with the member upon written request which must be made prior to May 1 of the current year.
Children 4 years and younger, related to a member but not living permanently with the member (ie. grandchildren), may use Club facilities free of charge when accompanied by the adult member.
All other individuals, including extended family members who do not meet the membership criteria outlined above, must be registered as guests and pay applicable fees.
Every guest must be registered when entering the facility. Guests are subject to the same rules as members.
Daily Guests: The cash fee for each guest is $5. Members may purchase books of five (5) guest tickets for $20.
House Guests: A person whose permanent residence is more than 50 miles from the Club, and who is visiting a member, may qualify as a house guest. House guests must be pre-registered by the member 24 hours in advance to qualify for the weekly or monthly house guest rate. Forms are available at the Front Desk.
Employee Guests: Employees may bring up to two guests into the Club for free of charge when the employee is not on duty. If the employee is on duty, the guest must use a guest ticket or pay the cash guest fee.
Group Party Guests: All Non-members attending group parties must pay the $5.00 Guest Fee or one guest ticket. Please refer to the Group Party Reservation page for more information on group parties.
Caregivers and Chaperones
“Grandparent Rule”: Grandparents/Family members may enter the facility with members’ children to supervise them at the pool or tennis courts, however, they may not use the pool or tennis courts without paying a guest fee and being signed in by an adult member.
Children under age 10 are not permitted in the facility unless accompanied by an adult member or a parent-approved chaperone aged 16 or older. All non-member chaperones and chaperones under the age of 16 will be registered using the Chaperone Registration Form. Non-members must pay guest fees.
One full-time or live-in caregiver may be registered as a family member and use Club facilities when caring for family members’ children. Other babysitters who are non-members must enter as guests and pay guest fees.
Guest Ticket Books
Guest Ticket Books are available for purchase by each member family for $20.00 each. The book contains 5 tickets. They provide considerable savings ($1 savings/ticket) over cash fees for guests.
Each ticket will be good for admission of one accompanied guest any day of the week including weekends and holidays. Tickets are available in book form only and are redeemable only in terms of guest admission.
Ticket books may be purchased by check only at the admission desk. They are non-refundable but good until used.
Books bought in previous years will be usable in subsequent years.
Cash payment for daily guests will continue to be accepted at the admission desk. All cash guest fees are $5.00 per person. Payment of guest fee provides for the use of the entire facility (pool and tennis courts) for the entire day (including weekends and holidays.
Last Day of School – Guest Policy Update
The Board approved a policy that limits each family to two guests for the last day of public school– no exceptions. No parties will be allowed on this date. Please respect all of our members’ rights to use our facilities.
