For a number of years, our Club has had the policy of permitting members who cease temporarily to reside in the area to place their membership on an inactive status.
There is no fee for away inactive status, but each year you must confirm your address (even if no change) and away inactive status with the CHSRC Business Manager in writing. When you wish to be reactivated you must notify the Club no later than December 1st.
The Board of Directors offered inactive status to a limited number of local members in October, 1978, for the first time. The Board will consider this option on a year-to-year basis.
These inactive memberships make it possible to offer leases to families on the waiting list. The number of leases granted depends on what the Board of Directors decides is most fiscally responsible for the Club.
Inactive status is granted subject to the Club’s ability to lease the membership. There is a no fee for LIA status, but you must reapply each year in October.
